The Gold Coast Art School

For those that want to, but don't believe they can.

Intermediate Classes

We have found through years of experience with the flexibility after the Beginner course, guiding an individual is exactly that individually, not as a group relentlessly having everyone doing exactly the same thing. Through more open communication based on what has already been learned in the beginner's course, then to expand on these concepts such as:

Composition

How to apply compositional principles such as the plan, placement and arrangement of elements within an artwork.Through discussion, demonstration and by viewing examples of artwork students will develop their composition.

Brushstrokes

To paint effectively one must learn the proper brushstrokes. Brushstrokes are important because they are the smallest elements that make up a painting.

Colour Mixing

Further increases knowledge of colour mixing and understanding between colours.

Thsese are achievable at an individuals own pace.
