Why This Corgi?
I chose this adorable corgi because of the strong basic shapes you can easily spot in its face and body. If you watched my previous video, you’ll know I love to start with basic shapes before adding details. You’ll see this technique in action in this tutorial as well! Plus, who doesn’t love a happy corgi?
You can even download the reference image here and print it in black and white to follow along more easily. I recommend keeping the lines light as you start, and then gradually building them up as you refine the sketch.
